A program that provides basic legal, institutional and living information necessary for long-term residents to adapt to Korean society
Early Adaption Program
- Optional participation : International students, marriage migrants, immigrated youth of multicultural families, foreign residents living in densely foreign-populated areas
- Mandatory participation : Foreign nationals of Korean heritage with a working visit visa (H-2), foreign entertainers with a hotel and adult entertainment visa (E-6-2)
- Educational institutions : Universities designated by the Minister of Justice, local governments and public institutions, multicultural family support centers, civilian organizations, etc.

Marriage migrants : Foreign nationals who first entered into Korea with a marriage to Korean citizen visa (F6), and their Korean spouses or family members
confirmBenefit of obtaining 2 years when extending the period of stay for the first time

Foreign nationals of Korean heritage : Foreign nationals of Korean heritage with a working visit visa (H2) who are subject to alien registration
confirmAt the time of alien registration, submit the ‘certificate of early adaption program’
